Thankful Sunday...

Another Sunday has rolled around. Where does the week go?

Today I'm thankful for:

-for the moview Fireproof that our family watched yesterday. What a great movie. I'm thankful we decided to make it a movie weekend. We've had a blast.

-I'm thankful for the clouds and all their magical shapes.

-I'm thankful for the elderly aboriginal lady who sent some material to me for my quilts for the north project. That was so sweet of her.

-I'm thankful for the wonderful church service today.

-I'm thankful for our vehicle which is so reliable. It's given us many miles without trouble. Along with that we get excellant gas mileage on the highway.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Sounds like a good weekend at your house. We're just taking it easy. Not as hot as we'd expected, and that's nice. Hubby is getting ready to take DearDog for another walk. He has to go twice, or he doesn't think he's been walking at all. The dog can count! Liz

Sounds like you had a great weekend. And I love your frame - how exciting! That old house looked so neat - glad to see they restored it rather than rip it down

I enjoyed Fireproof, also. I had to have a tissue, though. Honey Bear and I had a discussion about the film. Looking back, I could see times when we were like that couple. I'm so happy that we made it through the rough patches.

I'm glad you have such of nice list of things to be thankful for. I've heard FireProof is a good movie but haven't seen it.

I am thankful for a faraway friend, that I have never even met, that always takes the time to send me loving words of encouragement and prays for my littlest love as if she were her own. That is what I am thankful for.

A reliable car is something to be very thankful for. Our lovely car that was made in 1984 sadly we are taking to the wreckers, but the mileage it has done is amazing without a new motor.

I have an award for you.

You've got me thinking and I'll admit I hadn't been thankful for our reliable transportation. For years we drove vehicles (only owning one at a time) that left us in the lurch OFTEN. Since buying a few new cars in the past few years we have been relieved of the lottery breakdown burden. Thanks for reminding me. : D
