Thankful Sunday...

Our weather is once again proving that it's going to do exactly what it wants to do. It's giving us lots to talk about. Friday night it was down to +4C which is getting close to freezing. Sat. night was another cool night.

And yet I'm thankful for:
-the temps we are having. I don't like hot weather and prefer them to be around +24C during the day and about +9C at night. It makes for much nicer sleeping and we haven't had to turn our a/c on during the day.

-I'm thankful for the chance to weed the garden without mosquitoes biting. With the cooler night temps, we've had very few of those little buggers.

-I'm thankful for new friends made through blogging. One whose son has autism and is the same age has our J who also has autism. Our world is made so much smaller through blogging and the internet.

-I'm thankful for the park across from us. I'm thankful that the town keeps the grass mowed and the branches picked up after a wind storm. I'm thankful that we live in a town that cares enough to keep things up to par.

-I'm thankful for our church. I'm thankful for their outreach amongst the poor, for their outreach to a number of countries and for their wonderful worship.

I hope each and everyone of you have a wonderful Sunday.

Sounds like your weather is thinking the same as our weather, I actually wore a sweatshirt most of the day yesterday. I'm not complaining either, I like it better on the cool side too.

My "Scrappy" Sister,

I'm so thankful for finding you too. God is good. I hesitated to open up on the blog when I began posting . . . worried what would happen. Little did I know the deluge of blessings that would wash over me as my little life's truths trickled out like a fountain.

Your sweet reach out to me has blessed me so much. I'm thankful . . .
