Thursday in the Library...

Last night was a great night to sit and read. We had huge thunderstorms, lots of lightening and 2 inches of rain. We needed the rain badly though so that was nice. I always love listening to the thunder.

Today's book is one by Julie Klassen who can be found here.

Lilly is haunted by her mother's memories as she works in her father's apothecary's shop. Her father refuses to discuss it, leaving Lilly dreaming of the world beyond. Blending romance, family drama and fascinating historical detail, Julie has once again outdone herself in this book. It was fascinating to read about the apothecaries. If you enjoy historical fiction, you're going to really like this book.

We could use the rain, too. Just no more hail this time! Going to get the new roof on in August, looks like. Have a good Thursday! Hugs, Liz
