Red still...
It's another block for the Rainbow Challenge. Red is the color for January. Every piece of fabric in this block were scrappy pieces. I love when I can do that. As per mentioned last week, I'm going to try making a block a week and then put them together in two quilts at the end of the year. Should be interesting to see how the colors come together and will be a whole lot of fun. Actually that's what quilting is truly all about...having fun. This block is called Army Star the pattern can be found at Quilter's Cache.

I like the combinations of materials used in this block. It is very eye catching. It will be interesting to see how your blocks with different colors are put together by the end of the year. It does sound like a lot of fun! Hope your Friday is a fantastic one!
That is a lovely block! I love your subtle use of color with the red! Army Star...I need to check to see if I have that one in my big huge free block lists and add it if I don't..it's great!
That is beautiful. Of course red is my favorite color.
